Library training for staff

Are there Library resources that you would like some training on?

With the Summer Semester upon us, now might be a good time to come and see the Library staff for training specific to your needs. We are happy to arrange training sessions for your Department or School, for small groups or for individuals.

The changes in electronic information sources can be difficult to keep up with especially when you are busy teaching and marking.

Some suggested topics are:

• Specialist databases e.g. Brookers, NZ Census Information, GMID
• Using the internet to find scholarly information - Google tools, digital repositories etc
• EndNote - introductory or more advanced
• The Library Catalogue - linking to electronic journals etc.
• Library support for your teaching
